Greg Buchanan - Web Developer, Programmer

Greg is a master of all things Web, providing advanced programming in languages such as ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, ColdFusion and Javascript. His talent also extends into back-end database programming, such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Access, which enable dynamic content and powerful e-commerce solutions.

Greg’s Web career began during the Internet boom with pioneering agencies, such as Fullmoon Interactive, Orrell Communications and Liquid Agency. There he produced some of the most cutting-edge Web projects for PalmSource, QuantumDot and Unlimited Energy. Currently, Greg is a principle partner at GelFuzion, a marketing communications technology solutions provider, where he handles Web design, development and user interface projects.

With a vast understanding of Web technology and graphic design, Greg bridges the gap between designing for print and designing for the Web. As an expert in industry standard graphic applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator, he guides print designers into becoming efficient Web designers.

Greg is known for his optimism, confidence and perseverance. “With every problem, there is always a solution,” he says, “and I am determined to find that solution.” His motivation and strong work ethic naturally led him to his self-educated career in programming.

Born in Washington, D.C., and later raised in several East Coast and Midwest cities, Greg eventually landed in Santa Cruz, California, where he earned an associate’s degree from Cabrillo Jr. College. He now resides in Bend, Oregon with his family. When not immersed in coding, you’ll find Greg snowboarding, mountain biking, surfing or dreaming of an alternate life as an international property mogul.
